Last Updated: [September 27, 2026]About This Site
This website supports the Section 106 Coalition, a nationwide coalition of Tribal Nations and public, private, nonprofit, professional, and community organizations working to defend and strengthen Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
The Coalition is a collaborative campaign, not a separate legal entity or membership organization. Coalition participants retain their independence, identity, and decision-making authority. Tribal Nations that join the Coalition speak for themselves. The Coalition does not represent any Tribal Nation, and participation is not a substitute for government-to-government consultation with the United States.. Participation in the Coalition does not imply that a participant endorses every statement, position, activity, or action of the Coalition or any other participant.
This website is maintained by Cultural Heritage Partners, PLLC on behalf of the Coalition. Cultural Heritage Partners provides legal, strategic, communications, organizing, and administrative support to the campaign. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” on this Legal page refer to Cultural Heritage Partners in its role as the website’s operator unless the context indicates otherwise.
Contributions to the Campaign are received and administered by the D.C. Preservation League, the Campaign’s nonprofit fiscal agent. Donations are processed through the D.C. Preservation League’s website and are also subject to its terms, privacy practices, and donation disclosures.
Questions about this website may be directed to fightback@culturalheritagepartners.com.
